| Surveys conducted by The American Institute of Chemists
indicate the average reader holds a Ph.D. and more than 20 years
of field experience. In addition, more than 49% of the respondents
read the publication thoroughly, while another 49% read the magazine
casually. Approximately 17% of all Chemist readers are directly
responsible for purchasing specifications, and almost 34% are responsible
for purchasing recommendations. More than 11% of those buyers are
responsible for purchasing budgets in excess of $1,000,000, while
an additional 24% oversee budgets between $100,000 and $1,000,000.
The Chemist is mailed to more than 2,000 libraries, chemistry professionals,
and AIC members. |
