Summary of Membership Categories

Affiliate
Non-voting members including student members and those not qualified for Associate Membership
Associate Member
Minimum of a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent qualifications from outside the USA with a minimum of a three year academic degree) from an academic institution.
Member
Members shall have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent qualifications from outside the USA with a minimum of a three year academic degree) from an academic institution and four years of professional experience.
Fellow
Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in a chemical science and at least 10 years of progressive experience in the chemical sciences after having acquired the baccalaureate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Corporate Member

The AIC provides its Corporate members with an international forum for exchanging and implementing ideas of value to the professional chemist and of strategic importance to the chemical industry. The AIC provides its corporate members with a reliable and objective method for evaluating chemists and technicians through the AIC Certification Program.
